Evelyn’s passions are traveling and writing about her travels. Her memoir, Between Inca Walls: A Peace Corps Memoir shows how Evelyn learns to appreciate each culture she encounters. An early sheltered life in rural Montana, a move to California at sixteen, and two years in the Peace Corps in Peru provide colorful backdrops for this coming-of-age-tale. Evelyn’s writing has appeared in the Delta Kappa Gamma Bulletin, World View and the Tri City Voice. Evelyn belongs to the California Writers Club and is a lifetime member of the National Association of Memoir Writers.
Between Inca Walls was listed as a finalist in the Non-fiction Cultural category of the Readers' Favorite Book Awards Competition…Check out my Zoom book launch on Youtube…I recently wrote an article in Conscious Connection Magazine called "How Living in Another Country Prepared Me for the Pandemic".
